More than 30% of Fred Hutch Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) signed authorization cards calling for union representation — enough to trigger a federally supervised election. On Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9, APPs will vote by secret ballot on whether the Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD) will represent them.
